What Does Declining an Endorsement Mean and What Are My Responsibilities as a Partner Seller?

Declining an endorsement means that you, as a Partner Seller, have chosen not to proceed with a pre-qualified buyer referral endorsed to you. While declining an endorsement is an available option, it can impact your Partner Score, especially if the reason for declining reflects a lack of property updates or responsiveness.

When declining, you are required to select a reason and provide any additional information to help improve the endorsement process for future endorsements.

Reasons for Declining an Endorsement and Your Responsibilities:

  1. Property is Sold Out: If your property is sold out, you must regularly update the property listings on OnePropertee to avoid receiving endorsements for unavailable properties. This can lead to wasted time for both you and the buyer and affect your Partner Score.

  2. Property is Not Updated: If the property details, such as price or availability, are not current, there will be a mismatch between the buyer's expectations and the actual offering. It is your responsibility to ensure all property details are updated regularly, which will affect your Partner Score.

  3. Lead's Monthly Income Does Not Match My Property: If the buyer's financial capability or monthly income does not align with the pricing of your property, you may decline the endorsement for this reason. We encourage you to specify why the lead is not a good match for your listing, as this will help refine the process for future endorsements.

  4. Lead's Property Preference Does Not Match My Property: If the buyer's preferences, such as location or property type, do not match what you offer, this is a valid reason to decline. Ensure that the preferences do not match the properties you have available before choosing this option.

Other Reasons: If none of the listed reasons apply, you can select "Other" and provide detailed information about why you declined the endorsement. Transparency in your reasons will help us optimize future endorsements and maintain the integrity of the process.

Note: Declining endorsements consistently for reasons related to unmaintained property listings (such as "Property is Sold Out" or "Property is Not Updated") may negatively impact your Partner Score, affecting your future eligibility to receive referrals.
