Gabaldon opens Negosyo Center for entrepreneurs
To help its entrepreneurs, the town of Gabaldon in Nueva Ecija opened its very own Negosyo Center in the municipal hall on June 11, officials said in a statement.
The third class municipality in southern Nueva Ecija held its two-day Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan at the municipal covered court from June 11 to 12, 2021, providing its residents with the opportunity to buy basic necessities, school supplies and materials, and prime commodities at discounted prices.
Gabaldo Mayor Jobby Emata joined DTI-3 Regional Director Leonila Baluyut and DTI Nueva Provincial Director Brigida Pili in launching both the new Negosyo Center and the Diskwento Caravan.
The Negosyo Center is the 25th center to be opened in Nueva Ecija, 116th in Central Luzon and the 1,197th in the country.
Emata expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the establishment of the Negosyo Center as this would provide his town mates access to the services of DTI, especially business name registration, business advisory and business information services.
The center will also provide needed entrepreneurial training sessions for would be entrepreneurs or existing business persons who would want to upgrade their businesses.
Baluyut assured the attendees of the event that DTI will continue to support the initiatives of local government units to benefit both businesses and consumers.
