Paolo Villar’s PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc. will install a 7MWp solar rooftop power system in PMFTC’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tanauan City, Batangas.
PAVI Green signed an agreement with ultra bilyonaryo Lucio Tan’s PMFTC to support the latter’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality in its direct operations by 2025.
The solar rooftop project will become one of the largest single commercial solar operations in the country with a rated capacity of 7MW, enough to meet the requirement of a 100-hectare manufacturing plant.
“We are honored to be part of PMFTC’s zero carbon journey, sharing the same vision and commitment towards a sustainable future, we are fully dedicated to making this project successful,” said Robert Marlon Pereja, COO of PAVI Green.
Targeted to be completed by October 2023, the project will reduce carbon emissions by approximately 9,811.2 tons of carbon dioxide.
PAVI Green, one of the country’s premier providers of clean and renewable energy, is committed to helping businesses attain their sustainability goals through solar, hydro, and wind resources.
It recently bagged a 40.4 MW solar power plant project at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Green Energy Auction Program (GEAP) early this year. The project is seen to energize around 15,000 households.
PAVI Green is working on three large-scale solar projects — a 20MW project in Bataan which will be completed this year, a 26MW to 75MW project in Camarines Norte, and a 50MW to 75MW project in Naga.
