Last Updated Mar 9, 2022

An invalid email address can be any of the following:

  • Non-existing email address

    • misspelled or typos in the email address e.g. juan@gmial.com

    • email address with a wrong domain e.g. juan@gmail.cm

    • wrong format e.g. juan@gmailcom

    • non-existing inbox e.g. not-existing@gmail.com

  • Disposable emails - temporary email accounts

  • The email server is not responding

    • a technical error on the email server

    • misconfiguration

    • overloaded server

When you received a notice that your email address is invalid, here is what you need to do:

  1. Check that there is no typographical error in your email. Also, check if your domain is correct. Sometimes, using “.com.ph” at the end of the domain matters a lot. Check if your domain has a “.ph” or not.

  2. Login to your email client to ensure that your email host is not having a technical error.

  3. Please avoid using disposable or temporary email addresses
