Innovation in construction: JAZA makes side trip to Takenaka’s Japan HQ

Bilyonaryo Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala made the most out of joining President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s five-day working visit to Japan by making a side trip to the headquarters of a Japanese construction company.

The chairman and CEO of Ayala Corp. shared on his Facebook page some snaps from his visit to Takenaka Corporation’s Tokyo headquarters.

In the caption of his post, Zobel de Ayala said he shared best practices and innovations on architecture, engineering and construction in earthquake-prone regions with Takenaka officials, led by Senior Managing Officer Tetsuya Sakiya.

Joining Zobel de Ayala in the visit were Ayala Land Inc.’s President and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Dy and Dan Abando.

What these Filipino executives learned will surely come in handy in implementing several of ALI’s major projects in the country.
