What happens during a Property Visit?
A Property Visit is an opportunity to see if a home or space feels right for a property buyer. It’s a key step where everyone—Buyer, Seller, and Tripping Agent—works together to make the experience smooth and worthwhile. Here’s what usually happens:
For Buyers:
-
You’ll meet either the Seller, Tripping Agent, or both at the designated time and place.
-
The Seller will guide you through the property and answer your questions.
-
Feel free to take photos (with permission), ask clarifying questions, and evaluate if it suits your needs.
For Sellers:
-
You’ll show the property to the Buyer, provide information, and highlight key selling points.
-
You may be accompanied by a Tripping Agent who helps coordinate the visit.
-
Respect the Buyer’s space and allow them to explore and ask questions freely.
For Tripping Agents:
-
You’ll coordinate the arrival of both parties and ensure the visit proceeds smoothly.
-
You are there to assist and maintain professionalism — not to sell the property.
-
If needed, you may help take note of concerns or follow-up items for the Buyer Assistance Officer to address.
By being respectful, helpful, and prepared, everyone plays a part in making the property visit a positive and productive step forward.
