    What is segmentation?

    Segmentation is the act of subdividing your leads into groups or buckets with similar characteristics, needs, or interests who are likely to exhibit similar response or purchase behavior.

    There are different ways on how you can segment your leads.

    Segmentation Possibilities

    • Demographic:

      • Age, sex, marital status

      • Income, occupation, education

      • Religion, nationality, ethnicity

    • Psychographic:

      • Social status

      • Lifestyle-type

      • Personal type

    • Interest

      • Property type

      • Location

    • Stage

      • Most likely to buy immediately

      • Most likely to buy within 6 months

      • Most likely to buy within 1 year

    These segmentation possibilities are all up to you on how you would like to engage with them. One example of a lead segment is a group of people looking for a house and lot in Mandaluyong City with a budget range of 5M to 10M. You can send this sample segment with options of properties with the same requirements for more highly engaged customers who can bring in more value for you. Perhaps, you can also have another segment of leads who are in the stage of most likely to buy immediately, that way you can start looking for properties they prefer and prioritize them.

    Ultimately, what you want to achieve is to properly segment your leads to provide what they need, keep them engaged, and eventually turn them into profits.
