Why can’t I add a new discussion in the Group?
If you cannot add a discussion, you need to check two things:

Your Group membership. Even if the Group is ‘Public’, you will not be able to interact in the Discussions page unless you are a member of the Group.

Settings of the Discussion Category. The Admin of the Group has the option to allow members to create a new discussion or limit it to Admins only. If you are already a member of the Group but is not able to add a new discussion, contact your Group Admin to clarify.
